“I’m ready, make me ready” she repeated to herself as she struggled onwards, contemplating his wise words, “We are never called to race against horses until we’ve outrun footmen”.
She vividly recalled the battles both lost and won, the obstacles overcome, each moment chiselling her into the resilient woman she had become. With every stride, her determination surged. She had embraced the lessons learned, carrying them as a flame within her heart. “I am ready, make me ready”, she quickened her pace, racing toward the violet sky, until the sound of the hooves grew dim.
