Where it all began...
"Everyone Is Creative." This is my strong and tested belief. Secondly, it's fun to be creative together! I have experimented with this for years in groups of various sizes, the process and outcome is always joyful. Why? Because we have a desire for connection, it's part of what makes us human. There is joy in sharing our experiences, from food to milestones, also in creating art… Through creating together, you release and share that little bit of you: your love, your colour, your expression. That only you can give. That is what makes it so special…
The Wedding Surprise - Stellenbosch, South Africa.
When my husband and I married, we asked our guests to create an artwork to turn into a wedding keepsake.
From paint splatters to figurines made of medical leg pins, textile collages to hidden UV poetry. Each piece was entirely different to the next, beautiful and thoughtful with a glimmer of that special person...
To their surprise, we framed and hung the 150+ artworks in a gallery, revealing it the night before the wedding!
The gallery became our reception hall, and as we dined and laughed amidst these walls adorned with love, I thought, "we must do this again..."
